Harford Barn has been finished to a high standard throughout and is a beautiful well appointed cottage with flexible accommodation to suit both couples and families. It is close to the ever popular Tarka Trail that follows the route of Tarka the Otter from Henry Williamson's famous novel. These walks are ideal for experienced and fit walkers or cyclists as well as those who enjoy a slower pace exploring the coast and countryside in this stunning corner of Devon. The property has a delightful open plan living room with patio doors opening out to a sizeable enclosed sun trap courtyard – perfect for relaxation or outside dining. For chilly evenings there is a woodburner along with central heating. A fully equipped kitchen features an attractive dining table, which overlooks the courtyard. Two bedrooms on the first floor have appealing country views and both share a shower room.  A third bedroom on the ground floor has its own en suite. Located within the grounds of the owner's own home the property is just a 15 minute walk from the delightful village of Landkey with its village pub and stores and Portmore Golf Club with its choice of 9 and 18 holes courses is just few minutes drive down the road. Harford Barn is a great location for exploring the whole of the North Devon area with a choice of beaches and the splendour of Exmoor all within a 20 minute drive.

A very well equipped property in a good location for touring the area. Very welcoming hosts.

Mr Ross M,

We had another fantastic week at Harford Barn - the weather was amazing! Thanks to Gaynor for the warm welcome as usual and for being on hand should we need her. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Thank you again.

Previous Customer,

We have had a great week. The accomodation was very good. A super welcome pack and friendly welcome from Gaynor. We were all very happy with our stay. Thank you.

Previous Customer,

Beautifully clean. Very comfortable.

Mrs Janet P,

Everything was fine. Our host introduced herself, made us most welcome and provided a great welcome hamper. Very convenient location for accessing north Devon.

Mr David B,

Gaynor & Chris were the ultimate hosts and if we needed anything that wasn't supplied, although I have never stayed in such a well equipped cottage, we just had to ask. From the warm greeting including a lovely welcome pack to the beautifully laid out cottage, we had a lovely week.

Mrs Helen H,

Chris & Gaynor are great hosts and go out of their way to ensure you will have an enjoyable stay. The property is extremely good.

Mr Ian G,
