Description

Stepps Farm is in a beautiful hamlet of Middle Marwood, just a short drive from the thriving village of Braunton. The detached 18th century farmhouse and barn conversion has been thoughtfully renovated with a tasteful blend of old and new. A large well equipped kitchen sits alongside a spacious dining room which features an oak table and an original bread oven. The many reception rooms are a bonus, with a games room, lounge with woodburner or additional sitting room. On the first floor, there are five bedrooms with two having en-suite facilities. The large master bedroom has a Super King-sized bed as well as an en-suite with a power shower. The fifth bedroom is always a hit with the children - it has two sets of full sized bunk beds. These bedrooms are served by a family bathroom with a separate corner shower. There are lots of places to relax outside. From the kitchen there is a patio with seats and, on the opposite side of the house, steps lead to a quiet lawned courtyard. Along the lane there is a lawned area of additional garden space available for football and other games, while at the top of the adjacent meadow, there are seats where you can look down the wooded valley and admire the countryside. Close to the property, you will find Marwood Gardens and the Muddiford Inn

FREE parking permit is provided for one car at Croyde's Down End Car Park (up until end February 2020)

Tucked away in quiet hamlet about 6 miles from beaches, shops etc. Lovely large property; plenty of room so different generations don't need to be on top of each other! Ideal for children and dogs - gated garden, adjacent field.
