Description

AMAZING SEA VIEWS, 2 BEDROOMS, PLUS SPECIAL PRICES FOR 2 PEOPLE

Breath-taking views are a real highlight of this charming cottage by the sea, perched on the cliff top overlooking the Atlantic Ocean stretching from Baggy to Hartland Point with Lundy Island on the horizon. Ideal either as a romantic break for two, for walkers or a family who appreciate the tranquillity, Williams Cottage is light and airy with an open plan lower level. The sitting room has a cosy wood burning stove and an alcoved window seat which is a perfect spot to relax and gaze out at the amazing sea views. From the separate dining room, also with lovely sea views, a few steps lead down into the kitchen (a glass partition separates the two levels) which has a stable door opening onto the garden. A fairly steep staircase leads up to an attractive good sized double bedroom where you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of a nearby waterfall tumbling through a cleft down to the sea. A further compact double room with stunning sea views shares the newly fitted bathroom with a hip bath and shower over. The garden has a patio and BBQ area and there is a stream just across the front lawn separated by a low wall (please take care with young children). A short stroll leads down to the pebble beach, where at low tide expanses of soft sand appear between the rock pools. Bucks Mills village lies on a section of the South West Coast Path between Clovelly and Westward Ho! so it is an ideal spot for walkers. From Clovelly you can take a fishing trip from the small cove or simply explore the ancient cobbled streets. Westward Ho! and its fabulous stretch of golden sands, popular with surfers is just a ten minute drive away. Boat trips to Lundy Island in summer offer a rare opportunity to see seals, dolphins, puffins and other diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. There is so much to see and do in this unspoilt part of North Devon, and Williams Cottage is a really special home to return to.

Lovely cottage in a gorgeous location

Dr Lisa M,

I loved staying at William's Cottage and hope to return. It is so comfy and quirky,. and delightfully 'cottagy' - and truly gorgeous holiday experience.

Ms Janie I,

Perfect place to hunker down with the fire crackling away on a freezing night! Loved it!❤️

Mrs Kathryn E,

Loved the cottage, great location, very homely, loved the roaring log burner and views out to the sea

Ms Tracy W,

Fantastic location, with views out to sea. The once fisherman’s cottage is beatifully finished in keeping with its rural location with lovely eclectic finishing touches. The wood burner ensured we were warm and cosy despite lashing rain and high winds. Fabulous .

Mrs Louise R,

Great location great property cosy and warm
