Coastal Cottages are always a popular holiday choice, quite simply because so many of us find it relaxing to sit and watch the waves, maybe sailing or rowing boats bobbing about, or the shoreline activity of the tidal ebb and flo. Some holiday-makers particularly enjoy staying by the sea in the winter months, to enjoy bracing walks as huge waves pound their way up the beaches.
There is always then the option of finding a great local pub or cafe in which to re-energise, probably next to a roaring log-burner. So whatever the season you enjoy a visit to the coast, we hope our selection of delightful self-catering cottages can inspire you for a stay.
Torcliffe, Combe Martin, sits in an elevated position directly above this beautiful little harbour beach. With uninterrupted sea views and close by access to the coastal path for spectacular walking, a visit at any time of the year will be a treat. Exmoor National Park is only a short drive away offering a completely diverse holiday experience. There are some Special Offers also available for Torcliffe.
Camberley in Woolacombe is a stylish ground floor apartment with quality fitments and uninterrupted views to the beach and National Trust headlands. Offering a sun-room and direct access to a large south facing patio with beach views, you may just want to linger here and enjoy the scenery.
Sea View in Lynmouth, is a Grade 11 listed Georgian residence with wonderful sea views from its elevated position. Built in 1721 and still retaining many period features, it is one of a few historic houses which remain in the centre of Lynmouth, close to where the East and West Lyn rivers meet before they reach the sea.
Woody Bay Cottage, has got to be in one of the most desirable self-catering cottage coastal locations. This detached character cottage has a peaceful and secluded setting along its own private lane and within 200 yards of an historic smuggling cove. Your imagination will have plenty to stimulate it in this wonderful area, which is still only 5 miles from Parracombe and just a little further to Lynton and Lynmouth.
We hope our sample of Coastal Cottages have inspired you to come and see for yourself. You can book on-line or simply call one of our delightful reservation staff, for any further help, on 01271 818150.
